Welcome to The Royal Regiment of Scotland

In March 2006, The Royal Regiment of Scotland was born and now all the Scottish Infantry Battalions have become one stronger Regiment, with roles that are the best the army can offer: Armoured Infantry (using the Warrior tracked fighting vehicle), Air Assault (deployed by helicopter) and Light Role (Landrovers for speed and mobility).

The Regiment's Battalions are based in Northern Ireland, Canterbury, Germany as well as around Scotland but retain strong links with their local recruiting areas. We are looking to the future without losing sight of our heritage.

The Regiment is actively recruiting young men now who are looking for exciting challenges and rewarding experiences instead of or as well as normal job. You can decide if you want to serve full time or part time, how long you want to serve and how you want your career to develop.
